Shuffling towards sustainability

Between 1999 and 2003, I undertook research, funded by National Grid plc., into the potential for bioremediation of linear alkylbenzene cable oils. In September 2000 I submitted an MSc thesis entitled "Monitoring and control of in situ bioremediation of soil contaminated with cable oil" as part of my degree of Master of Science in Environmental Diagnostics at Cranfield University. I submitted my PhD at Edinburgh University, on 30th September 2003 and successfully defended it on 17th December 2003.

Since 2005 I have worked in the field of improved oil recovery at the Tertiary Oil Recovery Project at the University of Kansas.

For details of my previous education and employment see my Curriculum Vitae.
